CHILD INCLUSIVE MEDIATION AND UNDERSTANDING

Mediation Associates is pleased to announce that Jackie Norton will be delivering the Child Inclusive Mediation – Awareness and Understanding day on behalf of National Family Mediation (NFM) from the their offices in Wallsend on Wednesday 8th May 2019. This course is required for all noneCIM mediators, accredited or not, including those who do not intend to qualify in CIM, as well as those intending to quality in CIM Practice after 1/9/18. STAY WARM THIS WINTER

You may get a Cold Weather Payment if you’re getting certain benefits. You’ll get a payment if the average temperature in your area is recorded as, or forecast to be, zero degrees celsius or below for 7 consecutive days.

The Cold Weather Payment scheme runs from 1 November to 31 March. Check if you can get a payment in your area.

You’ll get a payment of £25 for each 7 day period of very cold weather between 1 November and 31 March.

CAN YOU GET SHARE PARENTAL LEAVE?

You can share up to 50 weeks’ leave and up to 37 weeks’ pay. Shared parental leave (SPL) was introduced in April 2015 and it allows parents to share 50 weeks of leave and 37 weeks of pay after they have a baby.Parents can take time off separately or can be at home together for up to six months

SPL is paid at £140.98 per week or 90% of your average earnings, whichever is lower.
